At Sercu & Sercu, we are bound together by a common interest in creating a unique and successful firm. It started over a decade ago when both Marilee and Stephen Sercu became attorneys with proven accomplishments in their field of practice. In 2001, Marilee Sercu formed her own Family Law practice distinguished by her sincere passion and expertise to guide clients through the legal issues and court proceedings that resolve family changes.

Just a few years later, the firm would expand into additional practice areas and become Sercu & Sercu when Stephen Sercu entered private practice. Stephen was drawn by Marilee's passion to guide clients through complex legal proceedings - and by witnessing the needs of all parties who are affected by judicial proceedings. His distinguished criminal law career in the Office of the Monroe County District Attorney became the foundation for the firm's expanded practice.

Today, Sercu and Sercu has expanded further with the addition of equally talented practitioners. Yet the firm has never lost its focus on creating a unique and successful firm. And it has never lost its focus for trust and performance.

 

Community Support. Sercu & Sercu has been a consistent contributor to nonprofit organizations and educational institutions in this area. We help people improve the quality of life for themselves and others. Our commitment requires that we go beyond simple checkbook philanthropy. We are working hand-in-hand with public and nonprofit organizations to address specific problems.
