Regardless of whether the matter is a misdemeanor or a felony, there is an understanding that this is one of the most important matters in your life at that time. Prior to starting his criminal defense practice, Stephen was a Special Assistant District Attorney serving in the Monroe County District Attorney’s office. Stephen has handled tens of thousands of criminal cases including homicide, rape, burglary, larceny, DWI and other Penal Law Matters. Stephen has lectured at local colleges and high schools in the area of criminal defense.

A native of Rochester and a graduate of Nazareth College and University of Buffalo School of Law, Marilee’s practice concentrates on the areas of matrimonial and family law. Marilee is experienced in handling complex cases involving custody, relocation, child support, maintenance, and business valuations.

She has the knowledge and experience to give clients comprehensive and thorough representation in all aspects of matrimonial and family law.

Marilee is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Association, and the Family Law Section for the Monroe County Bar Association. She has lectured at Nazareth College and served on several local charity boards.

  Mr. Sercu is hands down the best attorney I could have hoped for, got me through my case with the best outcome and always stayed on top of it from the very beginning. He thinks outside the box and attacks at angles I never would have thought of.
